Get ready for the 2019 Kids Fishing Jamboree!
This year’s Kids Fishing Jamboree looks to be another great event coordinated by the LLIA Fish Committee, complete with new opportunities!
Schedule: Saturday July 27, 2019 - starts at 8:00am and concludes at 11:30am. Awards immediately at 11:30am and lunch provided by Lauderdale Landing following the awards. Click here to save the event and location address to your calendar.
Registration: Register in person, onsite at Lauderdale Landing beginning at 8:00am. The cost is $5.00 per child.
Grand Prize Raffle: Tickets available for $1.00 each, 6 tickets for $5.00, or arms length of tickets for $20.00.
Corky's School of Fish (New this year!)
Learn the basics of how to fish and get some pointers from Corky and his team of experienced anglers. This special new program is geared toward novice anglers of any age. Cost will be $20.00 per student (limit 2 kids per family) with a maximum limit of 20 students total. An adult must be present for the entire lesson; the program is for both kids and their parents. Kids must wear a life vest, hat, and eye protection. Class begins at 9:00 am. There will be 2-4 kids per instructor. LLIA Fish Committee will provide rod and reel combos and bait for all participants. The kids get to keep the rods and tackle!
Additional Events on July 27th following the Fishing Jamboree:
After party at the Lauderdale Landing 7:00 pm-9:00pm. All participants from the Rib Cook Off will be provided free Miller Lite until the keg runs out! Keep ticket or provide proof of participation for free beer! There will be a raffle/silent auction so bring your money! There will be entertainment as well!
