HEALTHY LAKES & RIVERS PROGRAM

Highlights of How the Program Works:

1. Shore land Property Owner prepares a plan for improving lakeshore property with Healthy Lakes practices.

2. LLIA Healthy Lakes Team conducts a site visit and reviews plan with the Property Owner.

3. LLIA helps the Property Owner apply for a Healthy Lakes grant (up to $1000 for each of the five good practices implemented).

4. After the grant is approved, the Property Owner completes and pays for the work done, keeping necessary records.

5. LLIA helps the Property Owner complete a request for reimbursement and sends the reimbursement funds to the Property Owner.
