WATER SAFETY

Water Safety Committee Responsibility: Track water and boating safety as it pertains to the Lauderdale Lakes. Note changes in Coast Guard and state laws that affect Lauderdale Lakes users.

Opportunity for Community Involvement: Contact your local DNR office to sign up for their boating course. Many laws have changed and it's a great refresher. You may receive a reduction on boat insurance for taking the course.
