Get ready for the Kids Fishing Jamboree!

This year’s Kids Fishing Jamboree looks to be another great event coordinated by the LLIA Fish Committee!

Schedule: Saturday July 20, 2024 beginning and ending at Lauderdale Landing. Click here to save the event and location address to your calendar.

7:00am – Registration starts in person at Lauderdale Landing (see below for advance registration options)
8:00 to 11:00am – Time for Fishing!
9:00 to 10:30am – Corky’s School of Fish (Special Registration - see details below)
10:00am – Programs of interest at Lauderdale Landing (see Jamboree details below)
11:00am – Gather back at Lauderdale Landings for lunch and contest awards

Registration: Register in-person at Lauderdale Landing beginning at 7:00am on the day of the event, or advance registration on-line.

Jamboree ($-FREE per entrant): CLICK HERE TO REGISTER All entrants will receive a gift bag or bucket of goodies and lunch (grilled hot dog, chips, dessert)! Area organizations will provide programming at 10:00am.

Fishing Contest ($-FREE): There will be a fishing contest for two age groups: Ages 10 and under and ages 11 to 17. Prizes will be awarded for the top three fish by length in each group. Submissions will be by photo per contest instructions so fish can be released if desired. Included with Jamboree Registration

Corky’s School of Fish ($15 per entrant) CLICK HERE TO REGISTER: will be a hands-on fishing instruction workshop for any novice kids and parents interested in learning how to fish. Instruction will be provided by local Lauderdale “expert” anglers. All kids (max 15 participants) will receive a rod and reel and tackle to keep! Kids will need to wear a life jacket at all times and a hat and eye protection, instruction will occur from 9:00am to 10:30am on the piers at Lauderdale Landing. Parent participation required.
